PHOBOS |
PHOBOS , is a fully robot for Education purpose , we have developped sciences games in his 4D Systems microLCD GOLDELOX & PICASO
Intelligent Graphic Display Modules , we have use Two Arduino who communicates as "Master and Slave " for his intelligence (actions movements , obstacle avoidance , bound ground , and inter-activity with humans " , We have also used one CubieBoard A20 running on Cubian OS ; as his Server (WiFI remoted with Android Devices with pictures diffusions , Voice Speech recognition using SARAH or YANA ) .
With PHOBOS , people can play , by learning .
To start using PHOBOS , just enter in Menu on his touch screen , and Select what you want to do :
_Autonomous Mode :
In this mode , the robot will be fully autonomous to take his own decisions , and to inter-act with his environnement .
_Inter-active Mode :
In this Mode , you can play direcly a Science game on his touch screen and see how the robot will react if you find the right answers or not .
_Command Mode :
In this Mode , you can controll PHOBOS , using your SmartPhone , through WIFI or internet , you can also talk to him with his speech recognition system application integrated .
PHOBOS CONCEPTION
Hardware :
_2 Arduino UNO , communicating with I2C protocole .
_ARM processor ; we chose Cubieboard for processor reasons , Raspberry Pi can also be used
_4D Systems microLCD GOLDELOX & PICASO(32PTU) Intelligent Graphic Display Modules

_Wireless IP Camera include

_4 Continues current Motors

Software :
_GNU/ LINUX distribution ( Cubian OS , running in our Cubieboard embedded ) .
_ Yana Android ( for speech recognition) .
_Android application ; to Remoted Control our Rover through WIFI or Internet .
It was very difficult for us to developp PHOBOS , because of lake of robotic materials in our country( Wheels , Hardwares , servos Motors , CC Motors , arduino , Cubie etc...) /
The main Parts of PHOBOS is build from recovery parts (old Toys , radio , Cardboard etc... )
we hope to improve our Rover by giving him at least 6 wheel as a normal Rover .
